We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that, for the 13th year in a row, we’ve been crowned Australia’s Best Family Resort by the readers of Holidays with Kids. To us, it’s more than just an award – it’s a testament to the countless families who have trusted us with their holidays and who continue to return year after year.
It’s not every day a resort can boast such a long-standing streak of success, and we couldn’t be more grateful to our guests, both loyal and new, for helping us maintain our top spot.

Our guests know that there’s simply no other resort in Australia quite like Paradise. Where else can you find an enormous water park, complete with a lagoon pool and aqua play attractions, alongside an ice-skating rink, pamper parlour, and even a miniature train? And that’s just the beginning! We’re not just about big thrills – we’ve got something for everyone. From teddy bear workshops for the little ones to movie nights and live shows for the whole family! Crafting the ultimate holiday experience that turn moments into unforgettable memories.
We know that a family holiday needs to cater to all ages – from the smallest toddlers to adventurous teens, and yes, even the grown-ups! That’s why our rooms are designed with families in mind, with plenty of space to accommodate up to six kids, meaning no one gets left behind. Plus, some of our rooms have been newly refurbished with fresh, modern décor that will make your stay even more comfortable.
But we haven’t forgotten about the parents! After all, a family holiday should be relaxing for everyone, right? Our owner, Dr. Jerry Schwartz, has been instrumental in keeping Paradise Resort at the forefront of family holiday destinations. Over the past year, Dr. Schwartz has made massive investments in the resort, ensuring it remains fresh, exciting, and the go-to place for family fun. From our stylish new room refurbishments to the addition of a multipurpose sports court and arcade-style games room, we’re constantly improving to meet the needs of our guests.
But we’re not stopping there. This year, we’ve also installed four brand-new guest lifts across all wings, ensuring smoother and faster access to all areas of the resort. And we’ve added eye-catching new signage, so guests are greeted with vibrant colours and welcoming vibes as soon as they arrive.
As General Manager David Brook put it, "We consider these awards very important, as our guests are voting directly, and many of them have been coming back to the resort for over a decade or more." With that kind of loyalty, it’s clear we’re doing something right – but we’re not ones to rest on our laurels.”
