The wait is almost over! A brand-new adults-only escape is coming to Paradise Resort Gold Coast, with the highly anticipated Oh Shun Blu now just weeks away from opening Stage One.
Paradise is famous for keeping the kids entertained. Now, there’s somewhere just for the grown-ups.
Tucked away from the excitement of the children’s pools and family facilities, Oh Shun Blu will provide a retreat exclusively for guests aged 18+.
So, while the kids are booked in to the resorts onsite Kids Club or spending time with friends, parents can stretch out poolside with a book, cool off with a swim, sink into the spa, order something delicious or sip a cocktail at the swim-up bar... or simply embrace the luxury of having absolutely nothing to do.
Expected before Christmas 2026
Heated adults-only pool • Swim-up bar • Poolside relaxation
Coming in 2027
Indoor lounge • Tapas • Cocktails • Relaxed adults-only dining
Book a Pool Access Room, offering direct access to the Oh Shun Blu precinct straight from your room.
Settle in and enjoy a tempting selection of tasty bites and share plates, perfect for lazy days by the pool.
From refreshing classics to signature creations, enjoy handcrafted cocktails made for sipping poolside or at the swim-up bar.
Oh Shun Blu has been designed for parents seeking a serene escape, or a few hours of ‘me time’ while their children enjoy the endless adventures of the resort’s acclaimed kids club.
Featuring a 25m pool, swim up bar and relaxing day beds, this brand-new oasis is the perfect place for parents to read a book, soak up the sun, or do absolutely nothing.
Oh Shun Blu takes its name from a special chapter in Paradise Resort’s history. The resort first opened in 1982 as "The Resort", before becoming "Ocean Blue Resort" in 1987, a name it proudly carried until 1996.
Almost four decades after the Ocean Blue name first appeared, Oh Shun Blu gives a playful nod to that heritage while marking an exciting new chapter for Paradise. It’s a place to shun the schedules, the to-do lists and the everyday, and simply enjoy being on holiday.
