At Paradise Resort, we’re committed to providing comfortable and inclusive accommodation options for all guests. Our resort offers a selection of accessible rooms designed with both convenience and relaxation in mind, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable stay.

We have 3 x Deluxe Accessible Rooms, each able to accommodate up to four people. For larger families or groups needing additional space, we also have 2 x Deluxe Accessible Family Rooms, featuring two bedrooms and sleeping up to eight guests.

Whether you’re traveling with a carer, extended family, or a group, our accessible rooms are thoughtfully designed to combine modern comfort with practical features to make your holiday stress-free.

Additional Access and Support

To ensure you have a comfortable stay we encourage guests with special requests or additional needs to discuss these with our reservations team prior to arrival.

Parking
There are 3 x designated accessible car-parking spaces located in our onsite undercover car-park. Spaces are clearly marked with the International Disabilities Symbol.
Parking is $25 per vehicle per day and must be booked in advance as all spaces are limited. A valid Disability Parking Permit must be displayed at all times along with your paid parking permit from the resort.
- Maximum vehicle height including roof racks is 2m
- Accessible parking spaces are 2780mm x 5400m

Arrival
The main entrance in to the resort is via a steep ramp which is 6200mm long. At the top of the ramp is double sensor sliding doors.
Our reception desk is open 24 hours with an onsite manager on duty at all times.
Lift and Ramp Access
The entire resort is wheelchair friendly with easy access elevators, ramps and extra-wide hallways. Please note that access to the main entry is via a steep ramp which is 6200mm long.
To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible we encourage you to contact our team prior to your arrival to discuss your accessibility needs.
Service Pets and Animals
While we love our furry friends, for the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets are not allowed. In support of all abilities QLD and providing a resort that caters to all, we do welcome certified guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs provided a copy of the approved handlers identity card is emailed to our team prior to arrival. The certified dog must remain under the handlers control at all times, be wearing their approved coat or harness and cannot be left unattended in rooms.
Hire Equipment
We recommend trusted local companies such as Aidacare Southport and Amplify Travel for all of your accessible hire equipment needs.
Both companies offer a comprehensive range of equipment such as wheelchairs, walking frames, electric beds and more to assist in making every step of your journey convenient and accessible for all.

If you require additional care supports whilst away on your holiday, we recommend Amplify - Accessible Travel Specialists who can align you with the best care support services in the local area.
