Planet Chill Ice-Skating Rink

Following an electrical fire in the change rooms at the rear of our ice-skating rink on Monday 28 September 2026, we are saddened to advise that our ice-skating rink is temporarily closed until further notice.

While the fire was safely contained and, most importantly, no one was injured, Planet Chill sustained damage that will require extensive repairs. At this stage, we expect the rink to remain closed for several months while assessments and repair works are completed.

All guests with existing bookings for affected ice-skating sessions will receive a full refund. Our team is processing these refunds automatically, so there is no need to contact us.

Planet Chill has been a much-loved part of the Paradise Resort experience for many years, and we know its temporary closure will be disappointing for many of our guests. Our team is committed to getting everyone back on the ice as soon as it is safe to do so.

We hope to reopen Planet Chill in 2027 and will provide further updates as assessments are completed and our repair timeline is confirmed.

In the meantime, the rest of Paradise Resort remains open, with plenty of activities and attractions for families to enjoy.
