Is there anything more magical than a ride on a carousel pony? A merry-go-round ride should be part of every kid’s childhood and we’ve made it super convenient, with our very own carousel on site in the heart of Surfer’s Paradise. For just $5 a ticket, kids can choose a colourful pony to take for a gallop. Catering for all thrill levels, we have ponies that move up and down as well as ponies that remain still. There’s also the option of riding in the carriages. Giddy up!
Choo choo! All aboard Dusty’s train ride! Riding a miniature train never gets old! This is a great activity to do early on in your stay so you can scope out the resort and see where you want to spend most of your time. (Waterpark anyone?!) Let your kids choose a bright, colourful carriage and then sit back and relax as the train driver takes you on a leisurely 20-minute journey around Paradise Resort. The driver will help you spot lots of Aussie wildlife along the route and share interesting facts about Australia’s native animals.
The bathtubs in our standard family rooms do make it easier to wash the kids but, if they need a little enticing to get into the bath, bathing with a bath bomb they’ve made themselves should do the trick! They’ll love hearing the gentle fizzing sound as it dissolves, filling the bathtub with colour. Bath bombs aren’t just for the kids though! Grown-ups are on holiday here too, so it’s the perfect time for you relax and enjoy a soak too. Adults and kids are all welcome at our bath bomb workshops.
Choose a muffin and prepare to turn it into your own unique edible artwork! We’ve got icing and a whole range of delicious lollies, from gummy bears to smarties for you to arrange on top however you please. Our muffins are mini-sized, just right for little ones to enjoy for morning tea or a snack. Or, if you’re lucky, they’ll take one bite and leave the rest for you!
