Brush up on your trivia, grab your bingo blotter and open your mind; for Paradise Resort’s family games night, you’ll need all those skills (and so many more!). This fun-filled night is the ultimate family activity, taking you through three unique games with plenty of prizes up for grabs.
Hosted right here at Paradise Resort, the night begins with a game called Majority Rules. Similar to Family Feud, Majority Rules asks you to think how other people think and guess which answer would be the most commonly chosen.
For example, the question may be ‘What is a kid’s favourite ice-cream flavour?’. Do you say chocolate? Strawberry? Rainbow? Guess which answer you think the most people will pick. Whichever answer was chosen by the most teams will be the winner, and if you picked it, you’ll get a point. Sounds easy enough, right? Think again…
After Majority Rules comes Emoji Trivia, a fun take on a classic group game. During Emoji Trivia, keep an eye on the big screen as the ‘questions’ (written in the form of emojis) flash up on the screen. The question might be ‘Guess the movie…’, with the clue being a magnifying glass emoji and a fish emoji (🔎🐟). Be the first one to answer on your phone and you’ll win the round. It’s all about speed and accuracy.
Last but not least is Musical Bingo, and don’t worry – there’s something for every family member. With songs ranging from Disney music to 90s hits, all you need to do is identify the song and mark it on your bingo card. The first family to fill out their card will be the winner, but there are plenty of prizes up for grabs along the way, too!
