Christmas in July Winter Party (Friday July 1, 8 & 15 from 6pm)
Our Christmas in July celebration is the ultimate winter warmer. Join us for three evenings of themed activities, competitions, Christmas carols and a magical Santa show, ‘Storytime with Mr. Santa Claus and William the Bear’. It’s all happening in the pool area under the bridge, and bookings are not essential – though the celebrations are available for in-house guests only.
Astro’s Astronomical Birthday (Saturday July 2 from 3.15pm)
It’s party time! Join us in an out of this world celebration for our beloved mascot, Astro. Party with the Paradise Resort team as we help celebrate the birthday of our intergalactic friend with a giant birthday cake on the outdoor stage. Bookings aren’t essential, but this event is only available for in-house guests.
Magic Show with Chris Riches (Monday June 27, July 4 & 11 from 7pm)
Witness the fantastic magical talent of Australia’s best young magicians, on display right here at Paradise Resort! Taking to the outdoor stage, Chris Riches will show off some devastatingly good stage magic. It’s a rare opportunity to witness the very best in magic that you won’t want to miss. Bookings aren’t essential, but this event is only available for in-house guests.
Circus Show with Rhett Star (Wednesday June 29 and July 6 from 7pm)
Eccentric, bubbly, crazy and silly, Rhett Superstar has everything he needs to entertain an audience in his kit full of tricks. Doing acrobatics, juggling, unicycling and comedy, Rhett will delight the whole family with his unbelievable talent. Bookings aren’t essential, but this event is only available for in-house guests.
Circus Show with Stuntman Joel (Wednesday July 13 from 7pm)
There’s even more circus fun to be had this winter at Paradise Resort! Experience a performance from one of Australia’s best comedians and stuntmen. In this dazzling display, Joel will show off some unbelievable circus tricks, funny stunts and incredible chainsaw juggling. You won’t want to miss it! Bookings aren’t essential, but this event is only available for in-house guests.
In the Air Experience (Tuesday June 28, July 5 & 12 from 7pm)
Get set for incredible aerial artistry, high energy dance and breathtaking live singing, as well as specialty acts that will keep you on the edge of your seat. ‘In the Air’ offers something for every family member and is not to be missed. It kicks off with fire twirling at 7pm, before the In the Air Experience – Aerial & Dance Show starts at 7.15pm. Entry is free, and this show is for Resort Guests Only; simply present your resort wristband at the door.
Have a splash
Did you know that we keep our many pools and waterparks heated at 24 degrees, even during winter? That means the waterpark fun doesn’t have to stop during winter – the kids can splash away to their hearts content, and you can enjoy a relaxing float.

There is plenty of fun to be had outside Paradise Resort, too. Why not time your trip to coincide with one of these local events? Our resort is conveniently positioned in the heart of Surfers Paradise, to make exploring the Gold Coast a breeze.
Creekfest (Friday June 24 to Sunday June 26 from 5pm to 9pm at Currumbin Creek)
Returning after its inaugural year, Creekfest 2022 will deliver bigger stages, incredible artists and a larger footprint to allow more music lovers in! The program will showcase over 20 live performances across two outdoor stages, right on the beautiful Currumbin Creek by Currumbin RSL.
Harlem Globetrotters Tour (Thursday June 30 from 7pm to 9.15pm at Carrara Indoor Stadium)
Join the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters on their Spread Game Tour. Spread game is what the Harlem Globetrotters do best – basketball wizardry, ankle breaking moves, jaw-dropping swag, new drip. You’ll have to see it to believe it.
Scenic Rim Eat Local Week (Saturday June 25 to Sunday July 3 at 82 Brisbane St, Beaudesert)
Eat your way around the region through a program of festivals, farm-gate events and culinary experiences to suit foodies of all ages. You can see camels and cows being milked, feed sheep, goats, pigs and chickens, and taste lots of delicious fresh, local food! And don’t miss the Winter Harvest Festival at Aratula on July 2.
Hooray for Hollywood (Saturday June 25 to Friday July 15 at Warner Bros. Movie World)
Celebrate all the glitz and glamour as Movie World takes you back through the vaults of time. Expect the return of your favourite classic characters and experience Hollywood show moments, a massive all-star cast and their biggest parade ever!
Karen’s Diner Gold Coast (Friday July 1 to Thursday July 21, HOTA)
Karen’s of the Gold Coast unite! A pop-up dining experience is opening its doors and will be home to more Karens than you can complain too. Expect rude service, singing waiters and regular guest appearances from the manager – the most Karen Karen ever (just don’t dare ask to see her).
There’s a Sea in My Bedroom (Friday July 22 and Saturday July 23 at HOTA)
Based on the beloved children’s book by award-winning author Margaret Wild, ‘There’s a Sea in My Bedroom’ is an immersive and theatrical introduction to live classical music, capturing the magic of a child’s fantasy world.
Bricktionary (Now until August 7 at HOTA)
Just like Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught’s latest book, ‘The Bricktionary: The Ultimate A-Z of LEGO®’, this world premiere exhibition is built to inspire LEGO® builders’ imaginations and challenge visitors with six new interactive build zones.
