No passport required

Hopping aboard a plane or a cruise ship without worrying about border passes, quarantine or even masks seems like a distant memory, doesn’t it? Even when it comes to planning a trip – organising accommodation, figuring out where you will eat and what you will see, and researching the best things to do around town – you’re probably a bit out of practice.

What if we told you there was a place you could holiday with your family without needing to pack a passport? Where all the food, fun and family bonding was organised for you, and you wouldn’t even need to leave the hotel? There is – Paradise Resort, in the heart of the Gold Coast.

Like a cruise ship on land, Paradise Resort is currently Australia’s only resort with a giant waterpark, ice-skating rink, kids’ club, daily activities and loads more – all under one roof. It’s even been voted Australia’s best family resort 10 years in a row.

Find out how Paradise Resort has your next holiday sorted, from food, to fun, to family-friendly accommodation.

 Food options aplenty!

While there are some great places to grab a bite to eat in Surfers Paradise, there’s no need to actually leave Paradise Resort in search of a great family meal. Just take Penguins Restaurant, a brand-new themed restaurant that is bound to get the whole family flippin’ excited. It’s open daily for breakfast and dinner and boasts a huge range of options! Or, if you’re looking for a quick yet delicious bite, hop over to Jerry’s Burger Bar for a Giant Jerry or Deb’s Pizza Shack for a tasty Hawaiian (and loads more). Relaxing poolside? Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, the Poolside Café by the water park offers a delicious range of quick and convenient options for all tastebuds.

Even your holiday staples are sorted at Splashes Boutique and Mini-Mart, a handy grocery store where you can grab everything from bread and milk to beer and wine.

The best part is, thanks to Paradise Resort’s partnership with the app Order Up, there is an easy, convenient way to order food and drinks online. Just hop onto your phone, choose your meals and you’ll be notified when it’s ready to pick it up from one of our on-site restaurants. Yep, we’ve really put the power to feed your family quickly and easily at your fingertips. Oh, and as if all that isn’t enough, we’ve also got free BBQ areas for your family fry up. We’ve seriously thought of everything.

Fun at your doorstep

If there’s one thing we specialise at Paradise Resort, it’s fun – specifically, fun for the whole family. From our awesome facilities to our jam-packed program of events and activities for everyone from kids to adults, there’s no shortage of fun to be had right here on-site.

As we mentioned before, Paradise Resort is currently Australia’s only resort with a giant waterpark and ice-skating rink – but that’s not all. We’ve also got laser tag, rock climbing, multiple playgrounds and jungle gyms, a dunk tank, a games room and even a miniature train. Yep, it really is paradise for kids.

But wait, there’s more! Who could forget about our program of kid-friendly activities? From cupcake decorating with one of our mascots, Cleo, to mug makeover workshops, aqua hunts for the active kids and a program of poolside movies, we promise you’ll never hear the words ‘I’m bored!’ during your stay.

We’ve even got your teens covered. Our new Teen Club is for the ‘almost adults’ who are no longer enticed by our Kids Club offerings – it offers awesome activities like outdoor movies, ice skating, games, hair braiding and laser tag, perfect for your 13- to 17-year-olds.

But don’t think that the kids get to steal all the fun – we’ve got break out zones for over-18s and a bevy of adult-appropriate activities to keep you busy while the kids are running amok. Our new adults-only area, coming in 2022, offers an exclusive pool, lounge bar and area to relax in child-free paradise. There’s also a cardio gym for those seeking a sweat sesh, and fun activities like Paint & Sip, tasting sessions with everything from cocktails to gin and beer, and fun packages to help you celebrate a special occasion.
