As we bid farewell to the extraordinary year of 2023, it's time to reflect on the incredible moments and achievements that made Paradise Resort Gold Coast the number one choice. From the staggering number of families who stayed, to the cocktails consumed and the countless adventures, here's a recap of the year that was.
In 2023, over 26,000 families created lasting memories at Paradise Resort Gold Coast. The majority hailed from New South Wales, QLD, and Victoria but a special mention goes to the 6% who made the biggest journey and joined us from overseas.
Remarkably, 3,200 families returned for their 2nd or 3rd stay, while more than 250 families embarked on their 10th, 20th, 30th, and nearly 40th visit to the resort. Special shout-outs to the Katene, Fifield, Mazzoni, Mitchell, Gorman, Blatch, Haslam, and Rusan families for their loyalty, with additional kudos to the Barwicks, Wardropes, Wilsons, and the Heit Family, who graced us with their presence over 30 times.
Our dedicated housekeeping and laundry team also deserve applause, having spent countless hours washing towels and sheets, vacuuming, removing rubbish and ensuring each room was ready and waiting. And let's not forget the staggering amount of toilet paper, with more than 360,000 rolls used throughout the year.
With 796 guests leaving us glowing 5-star reviews, it's clear that Paradise Resort Gold Coast remains a favourite among Australian Families.
Paradise Resort Gold Coast's success in 2023 is a testament to our outstanding team, who clinched numerous awards and retained the title of Australia's Best Family Resort for the 12th consecutive year.
Our diverse staff of 340 members from 30 countries, including 12 individuals over 60 and 93 born in the 2000s, contributed to the resort's warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Special recognition goes to the 35 team members with over a decade of service, with 10 celebrating more than 20 years and two marking an impressive 32 and 35 years of dedication.

Our dedicated kitchen team prepared an astounding array of delights, with a staggering 3.4 tonnes of crispy chicken nuggets, 18.6 tonnes of shoestring chips, and a delightful 12,000 servings of aromatic garlic bread.
They flipped and stacked a whopping 22,000 servings of pancakes and dished out 8,000 servings of delectable waffles.
For the bacon enthusiasts, we sizzled through 5 tonnes and satisfied the pastry cravings of our guests with a grand total of 250,000 pastries, including the irresistible Danishes and croissants.
Beverages flowed freely with 25,000 litres of refreshing juice and 10,000 litres of our popular blue lemonade slushy.
Raising the bar for pizza lovers everywhere our guests devoured a whopping 45,000 pizzas from Debs Pizza Shack, demolished 30,000 ice-cream sundaes and stirred up the energy with 55,000 cups of coffee from the Poolside Café.
Toasting to the good times, our incredible bartenders helped quench the thirst of many with an impressive 400 kegs of beer, cider, and ginger beer, (equivalent to a staggering 20,000 litres) mixed over 6,000 Pina Coladas, cracked open 16,000 cans of beer, and popped the cork on a massive 2,000 bottles of sparkling wine. Cheers to a year filled with spirited celebrations!
The Kids Club was a hub of laughter and creativity, entertaining over 27,000 children. We also gave away more than 20,340 Kids Club sessions to children 0-12years, showcasing our commitment to creating magical moments for our youngest guests.
Ham and cheese, Vegemite, and jam emerged as the top three sandwiches ordered for lunch, adding a touch of simplicity to the culinary adventures.
In 2023, Paradise Resort Gold Coast expanded its offerings with four brand-new activities: Perfume Workshop, Welcome to ParadICE Ice Skating Show, Cookie Painting, and The Magical Christmas Express Train Experience.
Additionally, we introduced a brand-new Games Room, Children's Carousel, and relocated our Junior Kids Club, ensuring endless fun for everyone.
The Safari Train Ride proved to be a favourite, with 11,864 guests embarking on this exciting journey. Meanwhile, 2,026 cookies were baked, 2,501 kids crafted their personalized pizzas, and an impressive 350 birthday parties were celebrated.
The ParadICE Ice Skating Show drew the attention of 2,605 mesmerized guests and more than 16,000 guests donned some skates and took their own twirl around the ice-rink.
As we reflect on these remarkable achievements, it's clear that 2023 was a year filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments at Paradise Resort Gold Coast. We look forward to creating more cherished memories with new friends and old in the coming year and beyond.
