In a survey conducted by HotelClub in conjunction with Getaway and ninemsn, Australians have voted Paradise Resort Gold Coast as the best family resort in Australia.
Australians were asked to nominate three of their favourite hotels and to place a ranking out of ten over nine specific categories; family friendliness, cleanliness, room, ambience, staff, location, leisure, restaurants and business.
With more than 50,000 people casting more than 75,000 votes for over 4,000 separate Australian hotels, this survey makes it the largest of it’s kind ever conducted.
Australian Traveller, a partner on this project, collected the full data of all voted hotels and contributed their own ratings across the nine categories. They then tallied the votes and further sorted those successful hotels into their own categories – City, Family, Resort and overall Hotel to create their ‘Top 101’.
