10 Reasons To Book Your Family Holiday at Paradise Resort Right Now!

6-Jul-2017

Posted in: Resort

There are literally hundreds of reasons why I think that Paradise Resort is the bomb-diggity of the resort world.

My top ten reasons are listed, but I’ll also tell you about everything else that they do wonderfully there!  I’m actually planning my next holiday as we speak – and the kids can’t wait to go back! If you like the idea of cruising but don’t have a passport or get sea sick, then this is the perfect, all-inclusive holiday for you! Paradise Resort is like a cruise ship paradise for both kids and adults.  They kids will have a great time with all the waterparks, activities, kids clubs, ice skating, rock wall climbing (just to name a few), and the parents will get a break too with daily inclusive child care and their own adults-only area!

Oh – so as you know I love Paradise Resort, and in fact, I’m going back in July (I can’t wait! And here are the other reasons that Stay at Home Mum think that YOU will also love it!)

It Has a Brilliant Location

As much as they have about a bisquillion activities for kids, if you aren’t local to the Gold Coast, you will want to get out and about and see what the Gold Coast has to offer.

And Paradise Resort is close to everything. We visited the night markets along the beach, it was only a five-minute stroll from the resort to the beach front. Another five-minute walk will have you in the heart of Cavill Avenue.  Even the little kids can walk that far!  #winning!

Other great features of the Gold Coast to check out whilst you are there include: All the theme parks are located on the Gold Coast.  Movie World, Dream World, Sea World, Wet N Wild, White Water World (ask about discounted tickets when booking your accommodation!) Visit the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Some of the best beaches in Australia.

Burleigh Heads Beach, Surfer’s Paradise Beach, Coolangatta Beach Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum Shop all day at Harbour Town But even the Paradise Resort Website has a list of all the tours and attractions and offers discounted tickets!  So when you book and you want to go the theme parks, make sure you ask about it!

And if you forget, no worries, just visit the lovely staff at the front desk and they will be happy to help you with your booking.

The Food at the Resort is Fantastic!

The restaurant at the resort is child-friendly (in fact one of the staff was making us balloon animals whilst we were making for food), and open for both breakfast and dinner.  There is grown-up food for us as well as a Kids eat for $9.90 menu which has healthy options including steak and vegies, chicken tenders with brown rice and other options that would cater to even the fussiest of eaters.

Plus in addition to the restaurant, there is a poolside cafe, a juice bar, and one night week is a poolside BBQ night. poolside cafe, a juice bar, and one night a week is a poolside BBQ night.  Oh did I mention the Friday Night Churros. Nom Nom Nom! They have a good deal for kids meals too!

The Rooms are Spacious, Colourful and Entertaining for Kids

Paradise Resort has 359 rooms with ten different styles and can accommodate families of up to six kids!  It’s a low rise building with only 3 floors and all rooms have a balcony.  When I stayed there last, we had a Family Room which was wonderful as the kids had their own separate bedroom (ie with a DOOR!).

One Word: WATERPARKS!!!!!!!

The Waterparks are awesome (even in Winter!).  There is a central resort giant water playground (pictured below), a lagoon pool, a large heated spa (just for grown-ups).  The Junior Waterpark has a slippery slide, water cannon, giant tipping water bucket, a paddling area and beach entry for the little ones. All of the Waterparks are HEATED!!!

Other Activities for Kids It isn’t just the kids club and waterpark that are there to entertain the kids.  Paradise Resort also has an ice-skating rink (ages 3 and up).

  • Planet Chill Ice-Skating Rink (for kids aged 3 and up)
  • 360-degree Virtual Reality Experience
  • Adventure Park
  • The Cliff Hanger (a 9 metres high inflatable slide) (Must be at least 110cm tall to ride the Cliff Hanger)
  • Springfree Trampoline (simply the best trampolines money can buy!)
  • Rock Climbing Wall
  • Indoor Jungle Gym
  • Games Room
  • Giant Chess Board
