These iconic foreshore markets are one of Gold Coast’s largest markets hosted by local small businesses and craftmenships showcasing everything from exotic products, jewellery, home wares, artwork, live aniamls shows, beauty products, unique Gold Coast delicacies and much more. The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets are open every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night. Walk along the famous Surfers Paradise foreshore and find some fantastic souvenir gifts for loved ones or treat yourself.

Carrara Markets

Located just a short drive from Surfers Paradise, Carrara Markets is the biggest permanent weekend marketplace in Australia. With over 400 stalls covering 10 acres it's a treasure trove of the curious and the unusual. It’s also the original home of discount shopping when it comes to fresh produce, fashion, homewares, pots, plants, bric a brac, souvenirs, arts and crafts and just about everything else. Carrara Markets is a popular family day out, with buskers, pony rides, jumping castle, bungy trampolines, Reptile Kingdom and Mini Golf.

Chinatown Street Markets

Since the markets were launched in March 2015, more than 60,000 people have visited the evolving Chinatown Street Markets, noshing on noodles, downing dim sims and savouring all the other Asian style foods on offer, along with the live music and relaxed atmosphere. Ride the G:Link to the Southport station and feast upon tasty street food, eclectic entertainment, regular showcases, live cooking demonstrations and cultural celebrations.

Yoga Class

Complete your day the right way with a free yoga class! This one hour deep peace meditation class will you find respite in a hectic world. Just bring a yoga mat or large towel and enjoy a  fully guided meditation session with yoga breathing and meditation techniques to relax the body and calm the mind. All ages welcome, beginners to professionals. Class starts at 6.00am.

Feed the Lorikeets

Twice a day, 8am and 4pm, you can feed the wild lorikeets at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for free! Hundreds of rainbow lorikeets descend upon you from the surrounding trees to get a lick at the sweet honey nectar that you hold out in a bowl in your hands. These friendly lorikeet birds are not shy and will climb up your arms, on your head and sit just about anywhere to the enjoy their morning and afternoon sweet treat.

Skypoint Observation Deck

Located 230 metres above sea level at the top of one the tallest residential buildings in the world, the Q1 building. ‘Wow’ is an understatment as you travel up to the 77th floor in just 42.7 seconds to the 360 degree view of the spectacular Gold Coast and beyond. If that’s not enough, the Skypoint Observation Deck also offers adrenaline seekers the chance to climb the external of the building. The Skypoint Climb reaching hights of 270 metres, allows you to even lean over the edge of the building for a stomach-dropping peak at the ground below.
